Berlin colleagues receive order for water-steam cycle in new block at MHKW Rothensee
Müllheizkraftwerk Rothensee GmbH, a company of EEW Energy from Waste and Städtische Werke Magdeburg, is building a third block for thermal waste utilisation at the existing waste-to-energy plant at the Magdeburg Rothensee site

The planned new unit 3 includes a thermal waste treatment plant for commercial and industrial waste as well as a plant for the incineration of municipal sewage sludge. Commissioning of the plant is scheduled for 2024.

Now, colleagues at ETABO's Berlin site have been commissioned to supply and construct the water-steam cycle for the new block. After the procurement of the components and the piping material, the main activities on the construction site will take place until the beginning of 2024.
